It’s almost impossible to get a decent view from street level of the Captain America filming today unfortunately. Barriers have been erected all around Dale Street and the surrounding side streets, and security and police presence has been ramped right up. I’d say the best views today came from the end near the Piccadilly Basin arch… but you’d realistically need a 200mm lens or above to be able to zoom into the action. I only had a 70mm lens and shot a few photos of some Captain America extras from the corner of Newton Street (by the massive wooden backdrop):

The guys in the blue ‘WALKER’ jacket are there to take local residents and workers (in the businesses and offices still open on Dale Street) in and out of the film set.
